Meetings:
Get involved!
The SR 45 (US 41) PD&E Study will include an extensive public outreach
effort. Opportunities for you to provide input will be offered through
Public Workshops and a Public Hearing. Additional meetings can be
arranged for groups and homeowner’s associations by contacting the
project manager.
As part of the SR 45 (US 41) PD&E Study public involvement effort, all
meetings scheduled throughout the project are open to the public.

Public kickoff/scoping meetings:
June 5, 2008
The Public Kickoff Meeting is scheduled for June 5, 2008 from 5 PM to 8
PM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 7525 S. US highway 41,
Dunnellon, Florida 34432.

Alternatives Public Meeting:
The purpose of this meeting will be to present to the public the results
of the study to date and obtain comments on the viable alternatives that
are being considered. Visual displays will be available for review.
April 23, 2009
The Public Alternatives Meeting is scheduled for April 23, 2009
from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 7525 S.
US Highway 41, Dunnellon, Florida 34432. Presentation will be at 6 p.m.
The purpose of this meeting is to introduce the project to the public
and solicit feedback concerning the project’s need, potential
alternatives, and issues that should be addressed during the study. This
meeting will provide you with an introduction to the project, the
current status of the study and an opportunity to ask questions and give
your input into the study process.
Public Hearing:
A Public Hearing, as required by Federal regulation and State law, will
be held to present the recommended alternative. This Hearing may be held
once the draft environmental document has been approved by the FHWA, or
as directed by the District Environmental Management Office. All
meetings are open to the public.
The Public Hearing is scheduled for December 14, 2009 from 5 p.m. to
7:30 p.m. at St John the Baptist Catholic Church, 7525 S US Highway 41,
Dunnellon, Florida 34432. The presentation will be at 6:00 pm.
